  1. Sand Paper – 120 grit<\/li>\n
  2. Primer (Oil based or Water \u00a0based)\u00a0(1 litre covers 100 sq. ft. – 1 coat)<\/li>\n
  3. Wall care Putty<\/li>\n
  4. Putty knife<\/li>\n
  5. Suitable Brushes for Primer<\/li>\n
  6. Rollers for Base Coat and Top Coat<\/li>\n
  7. Royale Plastic Paint (1 litre covers 80 sq. ft. – 1 coat)<\/li>\n
  8. Texture Paint\u00a0(1 litre covers 120 sq. ft. – 1 coat)<\/li>\n
  9. Texture Rollers\/Tools<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Step 1:<\/strong><\/em><\/span>\u00a0Prepare the wall surface; sand the surface and remove flakes or any such loose material. Try and attain maximum smoothness.<\/p>\n

    \n

     <\/p>\n

    Step 2: <\/strong><\/em>Apply 1 coat of Primer with a suitable brush (1 inch or 2 inches). Water based primer would be best for amateurs.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

    \n

     <\/p>\n

    Step 3: <\/strong><\/em>Next, you will need to apply putty over a few areas of your wall with a putty knife. You do not need to apply it over the entire surface; only over cracks and areas which are not smooth yet.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

    \n

     <\/p>\n

    Step 4: <\/strong><\/em>After 3 hours,you will again have to sand the surface with a 120 grit sand paper. This will be the last step to attain a smooth surface finish.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    Step 5: <\/span><\/strong><\/em>Apply another coat of primer. The primer helps the paint stay for a longer and also\u00a0gives better finishing.<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n

     <\/p>\n

    Step 6: <\/span><\/strong><\/em>Next you will need to apply 2 coats of Royale Plastic Paint(Base Coat). Curing takes about 5 hours. (Mixing 10% water is permissible only for the base coat)\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    Step 7: <\/span><\/strong><\/em>Apply texture paint(Top Coat) over your surface with a suitable application roller. Use a standard roller and not the texture tool to apply the coat.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    Step 8: <\/span><\/strong><\/em>With the required texture tools, you can start your creative process. Read below\u00a0about the\u00a0different tools\u00a0<\/span><\/span>which are easy to use without\u00a0professional help. These tools are to be used after applying the texture paint and not with the texture paint.<\/span><\/p>\n

    		Once paint has been applied, use a comb to create various patterns.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Ragging Roller<\/strong><\/td>\n\n

    Similar to sponge finishes, rag finishes involve taking a dry roller and rolling it along a wall to create a raggy texture.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

    Spatula<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/td>\n

    		After applying the paint, place the spatula over the wall and randomly vary the motion to create an amazing effect.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Sea Sponging<\/strong><\/td>\n\n

    Take the sponge and slowly vary the motion over the top coat. A sea sponge is softer compared to the normal sponge used.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
